ABOUT THE RETREATS
Tranquil and inspiring retreats: your time to make progress on a writing project, meet that deadline, crack that difficult rewrite and recharge your creative batteries with a small group of experienced writers who happen to be mothers.
Hosted by me, Rebecca Schiller, a Mothers Who Write Retreat promises:
peace, quiet and a lie-in (if you want one)
a chance to be nurtured, cooked for and listened to
a break from your day job and all caring, domestic responsibilities
structured writing sessions and goal-setting
peer support and feedback from other writers
frank discussion of the opportunities and difficulties that combining writing with parenting can bring
a host with expertise in women’s rights, maternity rights, equality, the lived experience of motherhood and mothers’ mental health…
who also knows a thing or two about nurturing mothers (given my previous career as a doula)
luxurious accommodation and glorious gardens
walks, wine drinking (BYO), fireside chats
stunning settings
all meals, snacks, hot and soft drinks provided
your own double or king room
